Antioxin SBT is a new generation antioxidant specifically adapted for the treatment of malt and unmalted grains in the brewery: it acts on their LOX (lipoxygenase) oxidation potential and minimizes it.
The excellent efficiency of this antioxidant is expressed by using it in mashing at low temperatures, ideally between 38 and 42°C. Under these conditions, ANTIOXIN SBT inhibits the LOX activity, responsible for the oxidation of the aldehyde and all the other oxidizable functions present in the must.
DOSAGES FOR USE: 5-10 g/hl of must during mashing, immediately after mixing cereals and water.
COMPOSITION: Gallotannins, E300 ascorbic acid and E224 potassium metabisulphite.
