Pils base malt produced with the traditional floor malting process. Due to its low degree of modification, it is particularly suitable for Czech-style beers and multi-step or decoction mashing. It is obtained exclusively from barley grown in the Czech Republic from traditional varieties (Bojos, Laudis, Stamgast).
Malt is the fundamental ingredient in beer production. It is obtained through malting (partial degradation of starch) of the cereal. The numerous existing malt varieties differ based on their origin and the type of malting process. Each type of malt has unique characteristics in terms of color and flavor (sweet, biscuity, caramelized, smoky), which play a crucial role in defining the beer produced.
