Malagueta pepper seeds, also said Guinea pepper or grains of paradise, have a spicy and intense aroma. The aroma is complex, resinous at the beginning, then spiciness emerges reminiscent of pepper and then the camphorated hints of cardamom.
Aromatic herbs are used to brew Belgian Bière Blanche, Grand Cru, Tripples and Christmas Beers. They are usually added in the last 15 minutes of boil. In ancient times herbs were used to extend beer's storage time.
