Very light malt with a good fermentable sugar percentage. You can produce fair alcoholic content beers, with a dry flavour (Lager and Pilsner). Used to replace sugar in beer kits and to activate secondary fermentation in bottles.
This extract has the same quality as that contained in 1,5 kg cans, but it is packed with a screw cap, so that it is possible to use it partially, avoiding wastes or damages.
Concentrated liquid malt extract (80%). Suitable for the production of beer with extracts or for mini-mash method. It can replace grain malt (use the 75 % of the specified quantity) or sugar (replace 50%-100% with the 125% extract).
Malt extract is obtained from the concentration of malt cereals (mostly barley and wheat).
Liquid malt extract (or syrup) contains 20% water.
